Each distinctive chair features an architectural hardwood frame meticulously reed-wrapped for a refined ribbed texture. The backs of the chairs feature organic woven cane panels, lending a visual lightness and depth to the profile of the chairs. The seats are supported by straight, slender legs which are slightly splayed on the rear. The armchairs are constructed with broad squared arms with caned panels matching the back. The chairs are finished with loose seat cushions in an off-white fabric. The hardwood frames are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship in exceptional condition. The honey-toned rattan is well-preserved and has developed a beautiful glossy patina over time with subtle natural tonal variegation, giving each piece quiet warmth and texture. The distinctive and refined well-heeled profile blends Mid-Century Organic Modern, California Coastal, and Tropical Palm Beach styles, well-suited for a variety of interiors.
