Ralph Lauren Leather Writer's Chair with Matching Ottoman

A richly patinated signed Ralph Lauren Home Writer's Chair paired with a matching Ralph Lauren Writer's Ottoman. The iconic winged club chair is upholstered in a warm saddle-toned leather with classical styling in the English Chesterfield style. Featuring a deep, tufted seat, a wide winged top, and padded rolled arms with piped edges. A large loose seat cushion sits over a tailored base, fully trimmed in oversized brass accent nail-heads, raised on bun-shaped turned dark maple feet. The coordinating ottoman matches the chair with a button-tufted top, brass nailhead trim, and matching maple bun feet, finished in a matching saddle-toned cowhide. The supple English leather cowhide finishes have a desirable, characterful, aged patina. Ralph Lauren tag is present below the seat cushion as pictured. The chair and ottoman were bench made by artisans in Italy and finished in the U.S. The set is sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship in exceptional condition. The coiled spring interior has eight-way hand-tied construction for support and comfort. The leather finish showcases an aged patina without rips, or tears in well preserved condition as seen in photos. Ottoman measures approximately 32" wide, 27" deep, and 15" high. Chair arms measure approximately 21" high. Sold as a pair.
