Queen Anne Style Games Table Desk Speckled by Ira Yeager

Whimsical flip-top games table or writing table lacquer speckled by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The table features a flip-top that opens to nearly 48 inches open and 36 inches closed. Under the flip top is a small storage shelf for games and cards. The inside of the flip top has a natural raw finish on the wood and is unpainted. The case is supported by elegant cabriole legs ending with pad feet. The top of the table has a gracefully curved serpentine border. The table has been painstakingly lacquer speckled in a stylized animal print design with a marigold or pumpkin color over a dramatic black ground. The table is finished on all sides and would also make an interesting tea table, console, or entry table. From the estate of Ira Yeager Calistoga, CA.
