Stunning hand carved library table or console table featuring dramatic spindle turned legs or stretchers. The rectangular top is 1.5 inches thick having a decorative scalloped edge. The frieze has two storage drawers with brass pulls and conforming scalloped detail. The table is supported by large spindle turned legs measuring 6 inches wide ending with blocks and bun style feet. The legs are conjoined by turned stretchers. Beautifully crafted in Spain in the Portuguese Baroque taste. The mahogany is finished in a dark, near ebonized finish. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
