Iconic pair of Vienna secession period bistro dining chairs by Thonet. The No. 18 chair features a bentwood beech frame with a gracefully curved back conjoined to a round seat inset with cane. The chairs have a desirable aged, weathered patina with old gilt finish remnants. Stamped on bottom made in Poland, missing papers labels. Lovely profile and one of the most recognized chairs ever created. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
