Pair of Swedish Painted Pine Gustavian Style Demilune Console Tables

Exquisite pair of Swedish demi-lune console tables made in the Gustavian taste. Crafted from pine with a later painted finish. These tables were ends of a large banquet table and fit together to form a 45.5 inch round dining table or center table. One table is 22.5 inches deep and the other is 23.5 inches deep but it is difficult to see the subtle difference in depth. The curved friezes are supported by neoclassical style turned and fluted legs ending with peg feet. Classic Swedish Gustavian style with a lovely aged patina. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
