Pair of Neoclassical Style Walnut Cane Lounge Chairs by Baker


Mid-century modern pair of lounge chairs or armchairs made by Baker. The chairs feature a walnut frame with a generous caned seat and back. Constructed with neoclassical styling cues evoking designs by Michael Taylor. The chairs have a rectangular tablet back inset with a cane conjoined to flat arms measuring 22.5 inches high. The turned arm supports surmount the tapered front legs. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with newly upholstered fitted seat cushions. Beautifully preserved with a distinctive profile. Bakers plaque on bottom of one chair.
