Opulent pair of rare French chromed steel bistro tables featuring granite stone tops. The early 20th century tables are constructed from thick bar steel frames with an aged chrome finish. The granite squares are supported by four gracefully curved arms like a gemstone ring mounting. The arms conjoin in the middle mounted to a thick turned, shaped column. The column is supported by a tripod base having a three curved legs. The tables have a dramatic decorative arts neoclassical profile with amazing craftsmanship. The granite has an aged patina to commensurate its age and use. The tables are heavy, sturdy, and solid. Sold as a pair. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. The diminutive size makes the tables very versatile and could serve as occasional, side, end, center or drinks tables.
