Pair of Neoclassical Style French Iron Curule Leg Benches

Fantastic pair of French iron benches featuring Curule legs. Beautifully crafted in the neoclassical taste with an aged, distressed metal patina on the iron having a bronze verdigris look. The tops of the benches are iron mesh with later added fabric cushions in a gray linen style material. Each bench has three pairs of graceful Curule legs conjoined by a long stretcher with ball finials on each end. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. The benches are made in the manner and style of Maison Jansen, and Maison Ramsay's neoclassical designs from the mid-20th century.
