Pair of McGuire Organic Modern Rattan Lounge Chairs

Handsome pair of rattan lounge chairs made in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire. These handcrafted armchairs or lounge chairs feature a thick rattan pole frame with a lovely geometric open fretwork design on the sides and back. The rattan is reinforced with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints and rawhide caps on the arm terminals. Gracefully curved barrel forms are a classic McGuire design. The frames are topped with thick, fitted loose seat cushions having a subtle striped fabric. The chairs measure 33 inches high with with back cushions in place. Each chair has a McGuire makers plaque on bottom and a pearl M on the back of the seat signifying McGuire's highest quality pieces. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA. The rattan and leather have a beautifully aged patina on the original finish.
