Classic pair of McGuire toboggan dining armchairs featuring a barrel-back shape. Constructed from rattan frames with double-wall caned sides. The seat has a thick fitted loose seat cushion in a linen fabric with a subtle foliate motif. The rattan is lashed together with leather rawhide laces. The frames have an intentionally aged lacquer patina for a coastal organic modern aesthetic. Makers labels on seats. Sold as a pair. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with intact cane and new webbing on the seat bottoms.
