Fantastic pair of French painted bergere armchairs made by Maison Jansen. The large chairs feature a parcel gilt aged lacquer frame with a square flat back. Lavishly upholstered with thick, supple black leather hides having brass tack nailhead trim on the borders. Amazingly comfortable with a thick, loose seat cushion and padded arm rests. Beautiful from any angle. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
