Pair of Louis XV Style Marquise Winged Bergère Armchairs

Rare pair of grand French marquise winged bergères or armchairs made in the Louis XV taste. These generous armchairs are known as marquise chairs because they are wider than a standard bergere. Bordered by an accenting yellow welt with brass tack nailhead trim. The seat is topped with a thick down cushion and ruffled yellow trim.
