Fabulous pair of Louis XV period fauteuils featuring a painted and parcel-gilt distressed finish. Upholstered in a stunning salmon pink brocade. Beautifully molded frames with cabriole legs, floral crests, and an open exposed back. The front and sides have a serpentine form that further accentuates the shape of the seat. Scraped down to their original paint with perfect traces of gilt decoration. C'est magnifique.
