Pair of John Van Koert for Troy Sunshade Cymbal Armchairs


Mid-Century Modern pair of chic armchairs or lounge chairs designed by John Van Koert for Troy Sunshade Co. Made in the fabulous Florida Regency style featuring a cast aluminum frame having a barrel back form and gracefully curved scroll arms. The aluminum is finished in an anodized brass tone with brick red accents. Upholstered with white faux leather Naugahyde with buttons. Known as cymbal chairs. Made for limited outdoor garden and patio use. Rare chairs beautifully crafted from a set of six originally with matching upholstery and subtle style differences. The designs are reminiscent of Art Deco style with modern lines and profiles.
