Colorful pair of Japanese scrolls mounted as panels each having a border of gold leaf squares. Set in wooden frames that are painted with ebonized metal decoration. Appear to be parts of larger screens or scrolls painted with Kano School style and influence. Images of pagodas with mountains in the background with villagers in the foreground. Panels are not attached.

Dimensions: 25"w x .75"d x 67.5"h

Circa: Early 20th Century, Japan

Materials: Painted Wood, Hand-Painted Paper, Metal, Gold Leaf

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Age appropriate wear with losses to reverse side.
