Gorgeous pair of French balloon chairs or porters canopy wing chairs featuring linen upholstery. The large covered wingbacks have a beautifully painted frame with an aged, intentionally distressed patina on the finish, and hand carved floral motifs on the top and seat. The linen upholstery is bordered with brass tack nail heads. The padded arms measure 25 inches high. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an iconic profile. From an estate in Los Angeles, CA.
