Impressive pair of mahogany bergère armchairs made in the grand French Louis XVI taste. The bespoke pair of chairs feature a large, generous mahogany frame with a long seat. The backs of the chairs are squared and have graceful curved padded arms ending with scrolls. Topped with deep, down filled loose cushions for ultimate comfort. The frame is decorated with carved rosettes on the front corners. Supported by elegant tapered and fluted legs. Made in the manner and style of Maison Jansen. The frames are upholstered with a beige fabric having a subtle chevron style stitch pattern. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship from an estate in San Francisco, CA.
