Pair of Ferguson-Copeland Hollywood Regency Rattan Barrel Chairs

Amazing pair of barrel formed armchairs or lounge chairs made by Ferguson-Copeland. The chairs feature a gracefully curved frame with a dramatic silhouette. The frames have a split rattan reeded veneer finish with a gilt wood horseshoe shaped crest. Known as "Cleopatra" chairs upholstered with a stylized animal print design fabric. The generous seat is bowed in the front and supported by sculptural curved saber legs. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an intentionally aged patina on the finish. The split rattan gives the chairs an art deco inspiration grounded in natural materials. Arms measure 24.5 inches high in front. Makers and order tag on bottoms of seat.
