Pair of English Queen Anne Style Black Leather Wingback Chairs

Grand pair of black leather wingback chairs made in the English Queen Anne style by Schoonbeck Company who was purchased by Henredon. The chairs feature tall, sculptural mahogany frames with long narrow wings and a deep, generous seat. Covered with thick plush leather hides having brass tack nail heads around the seat and padded arms which measure 23 inches high. Very comfortable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The seats have a fitted loose seat cushion with visible age creases and cracks that add to their character and charm. The leather has a lovely luster with desirable wear and patina. The seats are supported by short cabriole style legs in front. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
