Pair of English Green Lacquer Japanned Chinoiserie Pagoda Cabinets
Rare pair of English green lacquer pagoda cabinets with a japanned finish made in the Chinoiserie revival of the late 19th century. Each cabinet is fronted by a large door and topped with a decorative pagoda shaped roof. Beautifully painted with idyllic asian scenes, and foliage with noticeable losses and fading on finish. Constructed from mahogany with brass hardware and supported by a shaped base. These would make wonderful dry bars or supported by stands.

Condition: Distressed. Fair condition with a noticeable distressed lacquer patina. Faded finish and lacquer checking with good joinery and each cabinet having small holes drilled in rear.
