Pair of English Georgian Style Bonded Leather Tufted Wingback Chairs


Opulent pair of English George III style tufted wingback armchairs. Made in the chesterfield style featuring a mahogany frame with a generous seating area and large fully developed wings. The English style rolled arms are accented by patinated brass tack nail heads. The dark cordovan or oxblood leather has a subtle marble texture. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with deep, comfortable seating surfaces. The chairs are supported by square reeded legs conjoined by a H shaped stretcher. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. Arms measure 26 inches high.
