Pair of Chinese Provincial Qing Horseshoe Chairs


Beautifully worn pair of Chinese Qing dynasty provincial horseshoe armchairs. Constructed from elm with a rich patina and interesting old repairs made with pieces of iron. Both chairs have a pierced back splat with scrolled designs and a shaped seat apron. Supported by round legs with stretchers and a foot rest in the front.

Condition: Distressed, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully worn with a distressed patina and several old repairs.
