Pair of Burmese Bronze Rain Drum Drink Tables

Rare diminutive pair of Burmese (Myanmar) rain drum tables or frog drums handcrafted from cast bronze featuring a rich metal patina with a verdigris finish. The bronze drums have a cylindrical waisted form with pairs of handles on each side for hanging. Made by the tribes of the Karen people to summon rain. The flat tops are decorated with concentric circle designs centered by a star motif. Topped with sets of frogs that are stacked. These small drums make great side or end tables.
