Fantastic nest of four chinoiserie style lacquered stacking tray tables featuring a japanned gilt finish. Each triangular table is graduated in size and decorated with hand-painted birds and grasses. The tops of the trays are galleried and they are supported by chow feet. They work beautifully as display shelves or étagerè. Provenance: Purchased in New York from John Rosselli in the 1980s.
