Dramatic polychrome painted Moorish Islamic star-shaped side table or drinks table featuring Middle Eastern arabesque designs and motifs. The large top is star-shaped and has a small galleried edge. The body has a tapered form and ends with an octagonal-shaped bottom. Beautifully crafted, carved, and embellished with vibrant colors over a red ground. Lovely aged patina on the painted finish to commensurate age and use.
