Monumental Portuguese Style Mahogany Library Table or Console


Monumental 19th century mahogany library table, refectory table, or console made in the grand Portuguese style. Thick 2 inch top supported by massive turned legs featuring an equestrian motif carved horse bust inset on the stretcher. The horse heads have beautifully carved details with medallions on the ends. Decorated with neoclassical greco-roman style busts. One of a man and one of a woman. These large library tables are finished in two rich shades of mahogany and dark walnut.
