Early 20th century monumental Chinese altar table made in the late Qing/early republic era. Constructed from Elm using mortise and tenon joinery. Features large carved ruyi cloud motif spandrels and scrolled ends. The table has a beautifully distressed red lacquer finish that adds character and charm to the piece. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship. From an estate in Bel Air, CA.
