Midcentury Ficks Reed Rattan Wicker Six-Piece Sectional Sofa

$9,800.00

Rare MCM woven rattan wicker six-piece sectional sofa attributed to Paul Laszlo for Ficks Reed consisting of three corner elements measuring 32.5" wide by 32.5" deep and three side elements measuring 25" wide and 32.5" deep. This versatile design allows for numerous configurations. Each element is cube shaped and mounted to a dark hardwood base with square legs conjoined with square stretchers. Each piece has a conforming deep seat cushion and at least one back cushion. The cushions are upholstered with a festive floral and foliate Asian chinoiserie motif over a dramatic tropical red ground. The wicker has a lovely geometric woven pattern and compliments the angular design of the sofa. The dark base gives the sofa a floating style. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age appropriate wear and fading. The design of this sectional sofa is attributed to Paul Laszlo for Ficks Reed with its low slung style and floating base design.
