Mid-Century Modern rattan and oak knee hole writing table or desk designed by Eleanor Forbes for McGuire. Classic styling featuring an oak hardwood case with split rattan trim. Fronted by five storage drawers with shaped brass pulls. Supported by splayed rattan legs on each corner giving the desk an Asian bamboo look. Finished on all sides, from an estate in San Francisco, CA. Makers plaque in drawer.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age appropriate wear and fading. The finish is aged and faded as seen in photos.
