Exceptional McGuire rattan pole sofa or daybed made in the California organic modern style. The three-seat sofa features a large rattan frame having a gothic lancet arch design on the back and sides. The frame has a waisted form that gracefully flares out on the ends giving it a distinctive profile. The exposed joints are lashed together with leather rawhide laces. The seats are topped with fitted loose seat cushions in a shimmery silk style fabric with a stylish striped pattern having a powder blue background. The cushions are thick and very comfortable. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a rich dark tobacco finish on the rattan. Makers plaque on the bottom of the sofa.
