Iconic patio and garden mid-century dining suite designed by Mario Papperzini for John Salterini. The rare set consists of four dining armchairs and one dining table square shaped. The legs of the chairs and table all feature the authentic Papperzini hand-hammered finish. The chair seats and backs have ball finials and geometric lattice insets in the neoclassical taste that Papperzini chairs are known for. The square table measures 36 inches by 36 inches and 29 inches high and has a glass pane top. The thick legs are conjoined by gracefully curved stretchers. The chairs and table are sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Sold as a set of five. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
