Louis XVI Upholstered Library Chair with Matching Ottoman


Distinctive French upholstered library armchair with a matching ottoman both made in the Louis XVI taste. Features a painted frame supported by tapered and fluted legs. The seat is bowed in the front with curved arms and a square back. The sides and back have a textured pattern while the front has a floral and foliate pattern. The seat is topped with a thick loose cushion with a tidy fit. The ottoman measures 14" W x 10" D x 8" H.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Excellent joinery with age appropriate wear and a beautiful antique patina. The back of the chair has a wear mark in the upholstery as seen in the photo.
