Magnificent Korean Showa period four-panel screen depicting hunting scenes with tartars in a mountain landscape. The screen is decorated with vibrant ink and natural color pigments on hand-crafted paper. Probably from the period of the Japanese occupation of Korea. The intricately painted scenes are set in a wooden frame with a silk border. From a collector in San Francisco, CA.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Age appropriate wear as seen in photos. Reverse side has stains and small losses. Silk border is creased over image.
