Monumental Japanese six-panel Meiji period screen depicting a serene snowscape mountain scene. Ink on paper made in the Maruyama school style late 19th-early 20th century. Bearing an inscribed date: Tenmei 1st year (1781) autumn. Signature reads Okyo with two seals the lower reading Chukin. Large scale screen with a beautifully aged patina and losses as seen in the photos. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
