Colorful Japanese Showa period four-panel folding byobu screen featuring plants and grasses with dragonflies. Decorated with chrysanthemum (kiku), bush clover (hagi), pampass grass (obana) and morning glory (asagao). Amid flying red dragonflies painted with ink and color pigments on gilt squares. Set in a natural wood finish frame with a golden silk brocade border. Signed by artist on right side. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
