Dramatic Japanese late Meiji early Showa period landscape screen titled Mountain Residence. Ink and color pigments on paper made in the Nihonga school style. Signed Sankyo and dated with cyclical date April 1920. Set in a black lacquered frame that is very heavy and solid with a silk border and brass hangers. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
