Gorgeous Japanese four panel Showa period screen depicting flowering cherry tree blossoms. Made in the Nihonga School style with ink and color pigments on paper with dramatic gold leaf and gold flecks. Signed by artist Hisayama-hito with a seal on the right side. Set in an ebonized wood frame with a silk brocade border and brass embellishments. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
