Large 18th century Japanese Edo period three panel agricultural mountain landscape screen. Three panel fragment of a larger screen cut down and remounted. Ink on paper and gold leaf squares with gold flecks painted in the Unkoku School style. There is a farmer visible on the right side of the serene landscape with interesting details set in a later ebonized lacquered wood frame with a silk brocade border. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
