French Louis XVI Style Fruitwood Oval Dining Table with Leaves

Handsome French dining table with two extending leaves made in the grand Louis XVI style. Constructed from fruitwood giving the table a warm honey tone that is not as formal as a dark mahogany version. The table has an oval form with pull out supports on each end to hold the leaves which extend the table to 106 inches or 71 inches without the leaves. The table is supported by elegant fluted, tapered legs ending with patinated brass sabots. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French profile and rich finish with an aged patina.
