French Art Deco Macassar Dry Bar Bottle Cabinet

$9,500.00

This opulent and rare french art deco dry bar cabinet was Ralph Lauren's inspiration for the modern Duke bar. The bar features a mahogany frame embellished with exotic book matched Macassar veneer. Each side of the large cabinet has doors to open to an abundance of bottle and glass storage. The front of the cabinet has three drawers with the center having a pull-out mirrored shelf for making drinks. Below the drawers are two large storage doors with two shelves. The wood is accented with polished steel borders and round knob pulls with a nickel finish. This cabinet represents everything we love about art deco with its fine craftsmanship and rich materials. Incredible sculptural style with bold designs that are functional pieces of artwork. This is the original design and dimensions of the Ralph Lauren Duke bar. The reproduction was an important homage to this piece and the decorative arts movement which had inspired so much of his work. The bar is a dramatic focal point for any room.
