Large 19th century country English pine bibliotheque or bookcase cabinet made in the George III taste. The bookcase features a top case having astral glazed doors opening to a shelved interior. The case is surmounted by a stepped cornice molding. The bottom of the case is fronted by four paneled doors opening to a large storage area. The pine has a natural rustic patina and honey toned finish in the country provincial farmhouse aesthetic. The doors have their original lock plates and key. The astral glazed doors have a geometric diamond pattern that compliments the design while the pine construction grounds the case in natural materials. The cabinet is large measuring nearly 8 feet wide made on a grand scale.
