English Cerused Oak Drop-Leaf Console or Refectory Table


Extraordinary English country oak drop-leaf console table or refectory dining table featuring a cerused finish. This unique table was originally constructed as a drop leaf refectory table but could also serve as a dining table or sofa table. The top has decorative "fish tail" hardware that is flush mounted to the top and the table is made with wood peg joinery. It is very heavy and solid supported by turned legs conjoined by a box stretcher. The table measures 33 inches with the leaves open. The table has a rustic feel with a recent redux showcasing the white cerused finish. Makers mark and stamp on bottom.
