English Aesthetic Movement Bamboo Hall Tree Coat Rack


19th century bamboo hall tree and coat rack with umbrella stand made in the English aesthetic movement period. Features a stylized Asian fan motif beveled mirror surrounded by hat and coat hooks. The decorative frame is covered with a wicker grasscloth and bamboo borders. The top has small windows on each side of a square form. The bottom features an umbrella stand with 10 holders and a zinc drip tray on the bottom that is removable. Amazing example of aesthetic décor with a strong Asian influence.

Condition: Distressed, minor wear consistent with age and use. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an aged and faded patina on the bamboo and glass. Age appropriate wear and natural splits on some bamboo.
