19th century diminutive Georgian style writing table or desk crafted from mahogany. The elegant desk is fronted by a center storage drawer flanked by two dummy drawers having round brass pulls. The case features a bow front shape with conforming thread inlay on the top and front legs. The mahogany veneer has a rich radiant woodgrain on the top, sides, and feet. The case is supported by tapered legs ending with spade shaped feet. The table measures 23 inches from the floor to the apron. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a handsome profile.
