Country French Provincial Oak Farmhouse Trestle Dining Table

Substantial country French provincial farmhouse dining table or refectory table hand-crafted from oak. The top features 1.5 inch thick oak planks with breadboard ends. The trestle style base has a small storage drawer on one end and is constructed with wood peg joinery. The table measures 23.5 inches from the floor to the apron. The legs are crafted from thick turned oak with block shaped joints ending with bun feet. The legs are conjoined by a long shaped stretcher with extra legroom for the end host seating. Very heavy and stable with a lovely farmhouse profile and aged patina on the finish. The large wood planks showcase the rich grain patterns and warm finish. Age cracks and old repairs add to its charm and character.
