Constructed with wood peg joinery the trestle base has 2 storage drawers in the frieze. The table measures 22.75 inches from the floor to the apron on the sides. Supported by thick, chunky square legs that have been chamfered conjoined by stretchers. The fruitwood has a warm, honeyed finish and a desirable aged patina full of character and charm with prior insect damage on the finish. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship that is strong and stable. These French farm work tables are versatile pieces and make great consoles or display tables as well as kitchen tables.
