Country French Bleached Oak Farmhouse Trestle Dining Table

Impressive country French provincial farmhouse dining table featuring a bleached oak finish. The rectangular plank top is 2" inches thick and supported by a trestle style base. The trestle is unique in that it has three stretchers conjoining the legs instead of only one. This gives the table excellent joinery and craftsmanship without the usual wobble and sway associated with this style of table. The 3 inch thick shield shaped or urn shaped legs are conjoined by a scalloped stretcher having an exposed mortise and tenon joinery. Ample leg room measuring 24.5 inches from the floor to the apron. The table was constructed with wood peg joinery and a desirable weathered, bleached finish. The aged patina showcases the rich woodgrain patterns of the oak.
