Christian Audigier Grande-Dame French Provincial Toile Tufted Sofa


Monumental Grande Dame tufted sofa featuring a toile de jouy French provincial style fabric upholstery. Designed by Christian Audigier (French 1958-2015) for his home in Hollywood, CA. Measuring nearly 10 feet long with a hardwood frame having classic English rolled arms and chesterfield style tufted back. The borders have decorative nickel finished brass tack style trim. The grand bespoke sofa is upholstered with a classic french toile de jouy printed fabric in charcoal black with an off white ground. Supported by short square legs ending with bun feet. The sofa is topped with thick, heavy white goose down filled cushions and seven down filled throw pillows. The deep, generous seats are amazingly comfortable. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
