Substantial country farmhouse dining table crafted from massive American walnut timbers. The table features a 2 inch thick plank top with bread board ends having wood peg joinery. The top is supported by a massive trestle base with thick, square post legs conjoined by a stretcher having an exposed mortise and tenon joinery. The legs have sculptural, angled supports mounted to a large 8 inch wide foot. The table is made in the decorative arts and crafts style and showcases the dramatic wood shades and grain patterns of the walnut.
